Cardtag was born from a simple frustration: after attending networking events, conferences, and business meetings across Africa, we found ourselves with stacks of business cards but no systematic way to maintain those relationships.
We tried existing CRM tools, but they were built for sales teams in Silicon Valley - complex, expensive, and designed for different workflows. We needed something simpler, more personal, and built for how African professionals actually network.
So we built Cardtag. Starting in Nairobi, we created an AI-powered assistant that turns every business card into a living contact, every conversation into context you can remember, and every event into an opportunity to build meaningful relationships.
